Childhood and Influences
A quaint nook stocked with books spanning all genres in my childhood house was the starting point of my early love affair with literature. Back then, I learnt about the power of narrative, which completely changed how I perceived the world.
I read many books as a child, anything from non-fiction’s sombre realities to fantasy’s fantastical worlds. Every book was a fresh experience and a new lesson that shaped how I saw the world and its diverse cultures and viewpoints.
The potential of narrative to promote empathy, understanding, and connection was just as powerful as the ability to provide an escape.
I was inspired by literary greats like Maya Angelou and Agatha Christie, whose nuanced stories and melancholic reflections demonstrated the power of a well-written narrative. They were not merely writers; they were change agents who used words to create connections between people from different backgrounds and experiences.
Various Writing Genres at Thisthatproduction
My experience as a professional writer has been as varied as the people and places I write about. I’ve authored works in various genres of realistic fiction.
The following comprise a complete list of genres we offer at Thisthatproduction;
- Drama
- Children’s Books
- Crime Drama
- Adult Literature
In the children’s book genre, I write about diversity, bullying, and other social concerns. I write these tales with young readers’ education, empathy, and understanding in mind, in addition to their intended entertainment value. The goal is to create a society where kids can recognise themselves and other people and where they may learn resilience, kindness, and acceptance.
I also explore more serious subjects like drug misuse, mental illness, desertion, and domestic abuse in adult literature. These tales, which highlight the complexity of life and the resiliency of the human spirit, are unvarnished, honest, and frequently difficult. By telling these tales, I hope to bring attention to sometimes taboo subjects and promote discussion and understanding of these important subjects.
Adoration of Drama and Poetry
Poetry has always been my safe haven, where I can freely express my thoughts and feelings while creating intricate stories out of moments and sensations.
My poetry captures the subtleties of joy, sadness, love, and loss, reflecting my inner world. Through this medium, I can communicate the inexpressible and establish a very personal connection with readers, which I’ve done repeatedly within my modern book releases, found in our bookstore, which discusses current societal themes in a realistic fiction fashion.
I’ve been drawn to the drama and crime genres because I find human nature fascinating. I examine the complex web of interpersonal relationships, our decisions, and their effects through these genres.
Narratives of drama and crime are more than just stories; they are like mirrors reflecting the day’s moral quandaries and socioeconomic dynamics.
The Vision and Aspiration of ThisThatProduction
The idea behind Thisthatproduction was to establish a literary sanctuary where various voices and tales could be honored. It’s a platform devoted to fostering and disseminating stories that captivate readers and inspire them to investigate uncharted territories and viewpoints.
The goal of Thisthatproduction is to create a community where reading becomes a pleasure rather than a chore—where tales are shared and felt. It’s about building an environment where writers and readers can interact, exchange ideas, and develop mutually.
My goal for Thisthatproduction is to keep shattering stereotypes in the literary community. I aim to cultivate an inclusive and varied literary environment, valuing and celebrating stories from all backgrounds. It’s about leaving a literary legacy that inspires, teaches, and amuses in addition to providing entertainment.
In summary
As I consider my journey thus far, I appreciate the experiences that have influenced the establishment of Thisthatproduction and my writing. From the beginning, when I first fell in love with storytelling, to create a platform that supports a variety of stories, it has been a journey of development, education, and satisfaction.
I am excited about the new tales that are still to be told, the fresh voices yet to be heard, and the ongoing development of Thisthatproduction as I look forward to the future. I want to leave readers and future writers with a message of encouragement and optimism. Keep discovering your voice in the big, wonderful world of literature, and never give up on the idea that stories have the ability to transform the world.
Every tale is a journey, and every journey is a story waiting to be told, as I once said. Here at Thisthatproduction, we bring tales to life. Welcome! And feel free to explore our varied catalogue of realistic fiction books, suitable for all ages.
